Superstorm Sandy Cannot Stop NJ Couple?s Wedding reports Marlows-Diamonds

(EMAILWIRE.COM, November 16, 2012 ) West Midlands, UK -- Superstorm sandy did interrupt the lives of so many on the East Coast of the United States, including those who were planning to say ?I Do? on the Jersey Shore.

After the storm washed away some couples wedding dreams, one couple became determined to put on a ceremony in their dream location anyway.

Bride Tiffany Kellner may have looked to be in a state of disbelief, but her and her to-be husband?s tenacity earned them the day they had prepared for.

The couple had planned on the Channel Club in New Jersey as the site for their special day. However, the super storm had other plans and the couple was unable to enjoy their placing. On Tuesday, the owner of the property called Tiffany and told her there was no way the Sunday wedding would work. The building had been severely flooded and there was a lack of power.

Michael Kellner stated ?It absolutely was her worst nightmare. This day she?s been dreaming of for years and years, and it finally came and it seemed like it could not work out.

Tiffany recalled, "Michael just stood there, just holding me in the living room, crying. He goes, 'We'll get through this, what do you want to do?' I said, 'I love you and I want to marry you,' and so he goes, 'OK, we'll make it happen.'"

The two started frantically search for a venue, which is not easy following the aftermath of such a large disaster.

Tiffany?s mother, Katie Downey, stated "If it had electric, she went in, and we just begged people."

Two days later, their wedding DJ told the couple of a place called Branches. The couple scrambled to book the place and were able to do so.

The couple was able to pull everything together within a day, and once the vows were finally exchanged, it was clear that even mother nature?s fury can only stall, but never extinguish, love.

"It's the fairy tale wedding and she looked so beautiful." Said Downey.
