?The Darkest Hour? is a thriller about best friends Sean (Emile Hirsch) and Ben (Max Minghella), who arrive in Russia on a business venture and find themselves in a fight for survival against an apocalyptic alien attack.

Accompanied by American visitors Natalie (Olivia Thirlby) and Anne (Rachael Taylor), Sean and Ben went their way through Moscow to search out other survivors and find their way back to the United States.

?The Darkest Hour? is suspenseful and exciting throughout. Unlike other alien apocalyptic films, ?The Darkest Hour? maintained its sense of shocking twists and surprises.

?The Darkest Hour? is recommended for teen and adult audiences because of violence and graphic language. The film maintained its science fiction graphic features while still keeping it realistic . Those seeking science-fiction thrillers will find this movie enjoyable and entertaining.
